1. Account Creation Policy

Users must have an account before accessing system features. Customers must provide accurate and complete information and verify their email through OTP. Staff accounts are pre-made by the Owner and should keep personal information updated. False, misleading, duplicate, suspicious, or invalid account information may result in account deletion or denied registration.

2. Password Policy

Users are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential. Passwords must be strong and must not be shared. If unauthorized access is suspected, the password must be changed immediately. Password reset uses OTP verification, and repeated failed login attempts may cause a temporary lockout.

3. Account Usage Policy

The system may only be used for legitimate appointment scheduling and consultation purposes. Misuse, false bookings, malicious uploads, and attempts to bypass security controls such as CAPTCHA, OTP, or role restrictions are prohibited. Violations may lead to suspension or termination.

4. Appointment Policy

Appointments must be booked using available slots provided by the Owner or Admin. Customers are responsible for selecting the correct date, time, consultation type, and location when applicable. Changes must be submitted at least 24 hours before consultation time. Requests submitted less than 24 hours before the appointment will not be accommodated.

5. Payment Policy

Appointments require proof of payment for verification. Payments are not processed directly in the system; all submitted proofs are reviewed by the Owner or Bookkeeper. Refunds only apply when the company cancels or cannot honor the appointment.

6. File Management Policy

Customers may upload appointment- and payment-related files only. Uploaded files must be relevant and must not contain malicious or inappropriate content. Staff access depends on role permissions.

7. Account Deletion Policy

Customers may request account deletion through account settings. The Owner may approve or deny deletion requests and may also remove accounts for policy violations. Deleted accounts cannot be restored.

8. Security Policy

The system uses CAPTCHA, OTP authentication, and role-based access control. Unauthorized access attempts are prohibited and may result in suspension. System activity may be logged for security monitoring.

9. Limitation of Liability

LegalSlot is an appointment scheduling and management platform only. It does not process financial transactions directly and does not provide legal consultation services itself. The system is not responsible for missed appointments, incorrect booking details, payment delays, user input errors, or third-party outages.

10. Modification of Terms

These terms may be updated as needed. Continued use of the system after updates means you accept the revised terms.
