Users must create an account or have one before accessing system features. During registration, Customers must provide accurate and complete personal information. The system will require verification through One-Time Password (OTP) authentication to validate the registered email address. Staff members, such as Admins and Bookkeepers, are given a pre-made account created by the Owner and should update and/or correct all personal information.
Users are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during account creation/account updating is accurate and up to date. Providing false or misleading information may result in account deletion.
Each user may create only one account. Duplicate accounts may be removed with due notice. The system reserves the right to deny account creation if suspicious or invalid information is detected.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. Passwords must not be shared with other individuals. Any activity performed using a user's credentials will be considered the responsibility of the account owner.
The system may enforce password validation requirements during account creation or password updates. Users are required to create strong passwords consisting of the following:
If users suspect unauthorized access to their account, they must immediately change their password. The system provides a password reset function that requires OTP verification. Repeated failed login attempts will result in a temporary account lockout for security purposes.
Users must use the system only for legitimate appointment scheduling and consultation purposes. Any misuse of the system, including unauthorized access attempts, the submission of false bookings, or the uploading of inappropriate content, is prohibited. Users must not attempt to bypass system security measures, including Captcha, OTP Verification, or role-based restrictions.
The system administrator reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate system policies.
Appointments must be scheduled using the available time slots provided by the Owner/Admin in the system. Customers are responsible for selecting their preferred date, time, modality, and location when applicable, before confirming their booking. Requests to edit appointment details must be made or submitted at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled consultation time. Rescheduling requests made less than twenty-four (24) hours before the appointment will not be accommodated.
Customers may request changes to appointment type, including switching modality from online to face-to-face consultation, provided that the request is submitted at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Consultation fees may vary depending on the selected appointment type. If the updated appointment type carries a higher fee, an additional amount will be reflected as a charge in the Customer's account and will require payment verification before changes are made. If the updated appointment type carries a lower fee, no refund will be issued, as customer-initiated changes result in forfeiture of payment, and the previously charged total will remain unchanged.
The ability to change appointment details is revoked/disabled when the scheduled appointment is less than twenty-four (24) hours away from the current time.
Customer-initiated cancellation of appointments is also considered forfeiture of the initial payment. Once a payment has been verified and approved, customer cancellation will not qualify for a refund. Refund processing applies only when the cancellation is initiated by the company or if/when the appointment is not or cannot be honored by the company. Customer changes that result in a lower fee than the initial payment will also be considered a forfeiture of the initial payment.
Appointments that go beyond the scheduled time will be subject to additional charges based on the duration of the overrun. Staff will monitor the consultation duration and will charge accordingly for any time that exceeds the scheduled appointment. Customers will be notified of any additional charges incurred due to extended consultation time.
Appointments made within the website are subject to the following payment rates:
₱4,000 per hour within Makati City ₱5,500 per hour outside Makati City

Appointments require submission of proof of payment for confirmation. Payments are not processed directly within the system. The system only accepts uploaded proof of payment for verification. All submitted payments are subject to review by the Owner(s) or Bookkeeper(s). Approval or rejection will be based on the validity of the submitted proof.
If the payment is rejected, the customer will be notified and may resubmit the payment. Appointments will remain unconfirmed until a valid payment is approved.
Refunds, if applicable, are processed at the company's discretion. The system only records refund status and does not process financial transactions. The system is not responsible for delays caused by external payment platforms.
A full refund will be issued if the company is unable to honor a scheduled appointment. Such situations may include unforeseen circumstances such as motor accidents, medical emergencies, or other force majeure events that prevent the consultation from taking place. In these cases, the Customer will be notified as soon as possible and will be given the option to reschedule the appointment or receive a full refund.
Missed appointments due to customer emergencies will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Customers are advised to contact the company as soon as possible if they are unable to attend the scheduled consultation due to unforeseen circumstances. The company reserves the right to request supporting documentation when evaluating an emergency-related refund. Approval of such will depend on the nature of the emergency and internal review.
Overtime charges are subject to the current rates that the appointment is based on. Appointments exceeding 2 minutes will be treated as 30 minutes for the purpose of calculating charges.
Customers may upload documents related to appointments and payments. Uploaded files must be relevant to the consultation and must not contain malicious or inappropriate content. The system stores uploaded files in designated user folders.
Staff users may access files based on role permissions. Users may download files for reference. Authorized users may delete files when necessary. Customers may delete files only after the appointment has been completed.
The system is not responsible for accidental file deletions by authorized users. Users are responsible for ensuring that uploaded files are correct before submission.
Customers may request deletion of their account through the account settings page. Account deletion will permanently remove access to the system.
Once deleted, account data, including appointments, files, and payment records, may no longer be accessible.
The Owner reserves the right to delete user accounts for violations of system policies and to approve customer account deletion requests. Account deletion will require confirmation to prevent accidental removal and uploading valid identification to ensure that the deletion request comes from the account owner. Deleted accounts cannot be restored.
Customers can submit feedback through the system only after a consultation appointment. Feedback must be relevant to the consultation services.
The Owner reserves the right to display or remove feedback entries. Only selected feedback may be displayed publicly. The system and the Owner reserve the right to remove inappropriate or offensive feedback.
The LegalSlot system heavily relies on internet connectivity and third-party services. System availability may be affected by server maintenance, network interruptions, or API downtime.
The system does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Temporary unavailability may occur during maintenance or updates.
The system implements security measures, including Captcha Verification, OTP Authentication, and Role-based Access Control. Users must not attempt to bypass security mechanisms. Unauthorized access attempts may result in account suspension. All system activity will be logged for security monitoring.
LegalSlot serves as an appointment scheduling and management platform. The system does not process financial transactions nor provide legal consultation services. The system is not responsible for:
